My friend said he registered and next day, the system did not know about
him. Happened at least twice.

Probably didn't follow the instructions correctly. Or If he did it on
the weekend, then it wouldn't have shown up until Monday - that's what
happened to me.

When I called about it Monday morning, the lady on the phone was very
nice and said I was in the system - sure enough, there it was.

The key is to really read thorugh the FAQ - gives you everything you
need to know, but you need to read it first and follow the online
instructions exactly.
