Actually, "Day of the Triffids" is one of the best sci-fi novels ever. The movie made from the book, though, was just plain awful. For some reason I never cared for or got hooked on sci-fi stuff, books or movies. The "Twilight Zone" and "Star Trek" was weird enough for me. Except when I was about 5 or 6. Then, the whole world centered on "Superman" (George Reeves). Eisboch Superman was not fiction. Damn straight! --Vic |
