I don't know.
Even though I'm Presbyterian, I'm not that Eccumenical.

no theological argument necessary.

Just wanted to say Happy Good Friday to the believers.

Is Good Friday supposed to be happy?
Growing up, it always seemed so glum & draggy. *Nothing was open here and
we were expected to spend a good time in church thinking about Christ's
last hours.
Easter Sunday sure made up for it though.

Yeah...glum & draggy. Here's something diagonally related to this exact
issue:

Naw...my mistake.
We spend so much time dealing with the overabundance of yahoos in here that
it's easy to forget that there are lots of sensible posters too.

Happy Good Friday - seems something of a paradox.

One has to know what the reason and end result was.

As Tim said..............it was all planned...............a mission He chose
to follow through.

If you are not a Christian you cannot understand.

If you're a GOOD decent Christian, then you wouldn't act like you do.
Lying is a start, warp17.

Tim, thanks for the 'intent' of the original post.

Having spent quite a few years in Roman Catholic schools, I can say that
Good Friday was always spent as a 'somber' day.

Interestingly, it seems as though the weather has most often followed the
somberness of the day, dreary, dark, and overcast. Then, Easter would
always be nice and bright and sunny.

This year seems to be different.

Must be due to Global Warming.

You are kidding, right? You are one of the LEAST "sensible" posters here.
