Announcing a new, categorized, lightly moderated boating forum

Building a forum designed to appeal to actual boaters. Categorized format designed to permit members to isolate those posts most likely to be of personal interest. The board is sponsored by a random and rotating group of marine related advertisers, so be forewarned there are commercial messages in some of the margins. No popups, however. It would be hard to imagine any advertising as offensive as some of the content in unmoderated NG's. Lightly moderated, with one reasonably free-for-all OT board "The Pumpout". Spirited discussions from all viewpoints encouraged, but boorish juvenile name calling and mean spirited personal attacks will be X'd. Would appreciate some qualified specialists willing to assist in moderating various categories. Would also appreciate participation from anybody experienced in "dressing up" a web site with graphics, etc. This forum is in its absolute infancy, so early paticipants can help influence the character of the final format. Anybody primarily interested in *boating discussion* is welcome. And heck, you can always come back here and exchange insults with the resident trolls when the urge to do so becomes overwhelming. :-) Disruptive trolls will have short life expentancies at http://boatingforum.proboards91.com See you there.
