... My paper is the Journal Inquirer... Hartford CT area.. And you are lieing again, I never said I was happy, I just noted it.. period.. stop putting words in my mouth. You and Harrry seem to be pretty good at that. The Hartford Courant also identified Spitzer's political party in several of its articles, as did The Associated Press articles, which many papers carry. Your Journal Inquirer on the 10th carried an article by Amy Westfeldt, an AP reporter, that mentioned Spitzer's political party. There's a clue: I wonder if the AP licensing agreement says the client newspaper can't alter words in any articles they publish from AP. There's no such agreement. Newspapers cut and edit wire stories as a matter of course. http://www.journalinquirer.com/site/...pitzer&x=0&y=0 A search for "spitzer" turned up 5 results. The first two articles identify him as a Democrat. The other three do not. This may prove my theory: The newspaper assumes that unless you're living in a cave, you know by now that Spitzer's a Democrat. When I was studying journalism, we were taught to make sure every word we wrote served the one and only goal: To tell the story. |
