Default *Ugh* I got to watch most of "Das BOOT"last night.

That is one mezmorizing film! Too abcd it came on way late last
night, and I could only get half way though it before I had to sack
out. Life on a German U-boat. Oh, man. I had to shut it off right
when the crew was at their christmas lunch reception in Spain. I wish
I'd recorded it. I'll eventually get to see the rest of it though.

Great movie!

Best seen in a good movie theater with a decent sound system...... unless
you have your own home theater set-up.
I saw it when it first came out... quite a few years ago.

Why, if you'd rather watch it using a 3" scratchy TV speaker instead
of "overpriced consumer electronics" surround sound?

So you pet your puppy Don, but trash Eisboch, for posting essentially
the same information? You never cease to amaze me, Krause.

Didn't he put his usual smiley face after his post to Eisboch. Krause is
very careful to maintain his suckup status!

It is funny as hell to watch how fast Krause can back off what he says.

Ones like or dislike in a movie is subjective.

It is spectacular on a good, surround sound system playing in DTS. With a
large subwoofer and decent speakers, the depth charge explosions and sounds
of water running down the walls of your room gives you goosebumps.

That's right: there were no spectacular movies prior to the advent of
overblown consumer electronics. :)
