Which is worse, seeing a prostitute or stashing $90,000 worth of bribe
money? The (dis)Honorable William Jefferson ought to be in jail.

Usually, we wait for the indictment, trial, and finding of guilty before
putting people in jail. Well, it used to be that way in this country. No
longer, eh?

Disregarding this, Spitzer had come into the Governor's office as Mr.
Clean. Since then, he has taken quite a few hits. This ain't going to
help him.

I always thought he was a bit too holier than thou, as it were. Well,
he's a Democrat; at least it was with women.

"It is a private matter?"

Was the guv'mint paying for the cell phone? Was the guv'mint paying for
the hotel room? Did he order room service...

Spitzer is laughable and will not be able to seek the office of POTUS now.

Probably won't be indicted or tried, assuming he resigns. He hired one of
the prostitutes .... not exactly a high level crime.
He hasn't lied to a grand jury or to the public .... yet.

He's still a despicable person in the eyes of many, including some in his
own political party. Power hungry and ruthless.
The fact that he dragged his wife up to the podium with him, certainly an
embarrassment to her, to admit his wrong doing speaks volumes of his lack of
compassion for anyone but himself.
