Which is worse, seeing a prostitute or stashing $90,000 worth of bribe money? The (dis)Honorable William Jefferson ought to be in jail. Usually, we wait for the indictment, trial, and finding of guilty before putting people in jail. Well, it used to be that way in this country. No longer, eh? It's not my business what he "did" with the woman in the hotel room. If state funds weren't used to pay for it, it's no one else's business, either. Wasn't he testifying before Congress the next day? Who paid for his trip to DC? Who paid for the hotel room? Wasn't it the state of New York? He should investigate himself for corruption. |
