This continual blathering about lobster boats is getting tedious. If anyone
is that interested, here's one for sale at a price anyone could afford.

The so-called blathering isn't about any lobster boat. Heck, there are
thousands upon thousands of lobster boats. We all want to see proof of
Harry Krause's lobster boat. You see, he's quick on the draw to prove
he's taken a plane ride to CA, to prove he's got Vista, to prove he's
got a cat, etc. But when you ask him about his lobster boat, or his
Yale degree, or his Dr. Dr. wife, or his father's trans Atlantic trip
in a runabout with a return to a fireboat welcome in NY city, it all
changes.

Oh my - very nice looking.

Gotta wonder about that price though - what's wrong with it? :)

It's in Halifax and their fisheries are dead.

The lobster stocks are dead there?

Don't listen to anything Waylon says.
There are major problems...especially with the overfished cod..but the
lobster and crab fisheries seem to keep on going although there are up &
down cycles and certain regions are worse off than others re Gulf of St
Lawrence.

I'm real, unlike your Zimmerman like lobster boat, Yale degree, Dr.
Dr. wife, father's trans-Atlantic trip with NY fireboat welcome, your
single handing around the horn, your sailing from SF to Hawaii, and on

It's really funny how when someone calls you out on something that you
really DO have are are doing, that you'll INSTANTLY take a picture and
post it. That in itself proves that you are nothing but a liar.

None, specifically.

Just thought I would offer this shred of evidence that there could
indeed be a lobsta boat in which Harry has at least enough interest
that it is named after his wife. Maybe. Or Maybe not. I would stop
short of calling "liar, liar" on the lobsta boat. It's tough to prove
the negative, (he doesn't own one) and unless HK steps up to prove the
positive (he does) the only thing the issue will do is keep attention
focused on the issue of Harry's lobsta boat ownership or lack of
truthfulness. As long as there is attention of some kind focused on
HK, about a half dozen people in rec.boats will be satisfied and we'll
see several hundred posts per month about what hotel he's staying at,
what he owns or doesn't own, etc.

There was a more extensive website for this vessel until very
recently, but I notice that it has been moved or taken down.

So take it for what it is, a very minor chance that there *might* be
an embarrassing pothole in the road for folks who climb too far out on
the
"Harry lied about the lobsta boat" limb. And after eight years (!)
it's time, IMO, to move on to something of greater value to the NG.

Harry, who are they? I know, I know, you'll weasel out with some
insults because you're a liar. I'd like to know more about your other
lies, too! You claim to have single handed around the horn. Do you
have pictures of that event? What about your sailing from SF to
Hawaii, I'd think you'd take pictures of that. I'd also think there
would be newspaper articles, etc. about your father if he received a
fireboat welcome. My wife has found many, many recollections of such
events in NY but none about your father. Isn't that interesting? How
do you explain that without childish and petty insults? What about
your claim that you lent your Florida house to displaced Katrina
victims, only to then say you knew nothing about Florida's homestead
exemption act because you sold your Florida property many years ago?
And what about the fact the the Homestead Exemption Act in Florida has
been in place at LEAST 20 years?

Chuck,
What post is this a response to?

Harry would love it too!

Actually, if Harry had a lobsta' boat, especially a 36'er, I'm 99.99% sure
we'd have seen umpteen pictures of it.

The lobsta' boat is just an example, Chuck.

Interesting theory but it doesn't really check out 100%.

Here's a picture of the Karen Sue with the good Captain Nedelka:

http://www.hookemcookem.com/gallery/...?album=9&pos=7

According to the USCG Documentation site, Nedelka owns the boat but
there *are* some discrepencies such as length and year built. It's
possible he runs a second boat for someone else which is *not* named
the Karen Sue but that shoots down the theory regarding the name
linkage with Harry's wife. Another problem is that Nedelka and his
business are not all that close to where Harry lives, or the location
he has previously claimed on the Miles River near St Michaels, MD.

Hehehehehehe.

You think Karen is an "unusual" name for a boat? There probably are
hundreds if not thousands of boats named after women named Karen. More
pertinently, why would anyone think my wife would want a boat named
after her?
