(302) 539-1359 Chuck, What post is this a response to? None, specifically. Just thought I would offer this shred of evidence that there could indeed be a lobsta boat in which Harry has at least enough interest that it is named after his wife. Maybe. Or Maybe not. I would stop short of calling "liar, liar" on the lobsta boat. It's tough to prove the negative, (he doesn't own one) and unless HK steps up to prove the positive (he does) the only thing the issue will do is keep attention focused on the issue of Harry's lobsta boat ownership or lack of truthfulness. Is Skipper dead? :} Not to worry; there are a couple of posters in this very newsgroup who have seen a photo or photos of said boat. |

I know, I know, you'll weasel out with some insults because you're a liar. I'd like to know more about your other lies, too! You claim to have single handed around the horn. Do you have pictures of that event? What about your sailing from SF to Hawaii, I'd think you'd take pictures of that. I'd also think there would be newspaper articles, etc. about your father if he received a fireboat welcome. My wife has found many, many recollections of such events in NY but none about your father. Isn't that interesting? How do you explain that without childish and petty insults? What about your claim that you lent your Florida house to displaced Katrina victims, only to then say you knew nothing about Florida's homestead exemption act because you sold your Florida property many years ago? And what about the fact the the Homestead Exemption Act in Florida has been in place at LEAST 20 years? |

As long as there is attention of some kind focused on HK, about a half dozen people in rec.boats will be satisfied and we'll see several hundred posts per month about what hotel he's staying at, what he owns or doesn't own, etc. There was a more extensive website for this vessel until very recently, but I notice that it has been moved or taken down. So take it for what it is, a very minor chance that there *might* be an embarrassing pothole in the road for folks who climb too far out on the "Harry lied about the lobsta boat" limb. And after eight years (!) it's time, IMO, to move on to something of greater value to the NG. Harry would love it too! Actually, if Harry had a lobsta' boat, especially a 36'er, I'm 99.99% sure we'd have seen umpteen pictures of it. Anyway, as an adult, I'd be embarassed to use it in a public newsgroup. What's next... 'XOXOXO' or finishing a post with 'S.W.A.K.'? |
