Default Boat for Shortwave?

I'm not trying to be smart here, but why would someone spend 95,000 on
one of those? Although I've never ridden in one, it looks to me these
boats would not be able to corner at high speed. Only my opinion, but
I'd rather have a Cuddy with out the walk around.
Boat Show near here tommorrow, mayber I'll see one there.

I've never been on a boat that will "corner" at all. :-) (just
kidding)

People who boat in conditions where there is a lot of short, steep,
chop are appropriately enamored with catamarans. Head seas that would
cause the average monohull to lift and slam over every crest and
create a wet, uncomfortable ride can be negotiated far more easily
with a cat.
It's probaby the strongest selling point of the concept.

I don't know about outboard configurations, but in inboard or outdrive
boats where there is an engine in each hull the generally greater
distance between the two props substantially improves the close
quarter (slow speed) turning capabilities.
