Ever read the tale of the grasshopper and the ants?

Not to say we should not help them.........but we should not continue to
support them if they are capable of working.

The problem with govt. entitlement programs is that folks get lazy and
depend on them.

No need for anyone to live at poverty levels if they are healthy and able to
work.

Too many fat lazy ass people out their soaking the system we are paying for.

I am not my brother's/son's keeper, he can get off his lazy ass and get
a job and support himself.

You seem to equate Christianity with taking care of all of the needs and
wants of others. That isn't the message. When someone needs help give
them help and when they can help themselves they need to be encouraged
to do so rather than begging from others.
