Eisboch The asking price is $63,000, and the most I could get the NADA value to was about $53,000 for that year, mileage, and accessories. I called and talked to the lady. She tried to convince me it was a super deal, even when I pointed out I could get a new 2007 (different make, same chassis), for $62,700. She started in about how theirs was on a Mercedes chassis, and was much better than what I was looking at. When I pointed out the chassis were the same, she just kept saying that her's was a real good deal. A poster over on 'RV' said that maybe they financed and still owed that amount. That sounds like it may be true. -- John H Sounds like it. RV's .... like boats (oopps ... should say "most" boats. I forgot that some people sell 'em for close to what they paid for 'em) ..... depreciate enormously in the first year or two and if they financed it they could easily be upside down. Finding a used one, in good condition, and accurately priced is your best bet. Eisboch |
