McCain is a nice guy with a good heart. Obama's cognative and communicative skills are superior to any other candidate running. Romney and McCain would make a good team. Hard to beat. Obama would have a tough time selecting a running mate among the other democratic candidates. His choice will be critical to his success. Romney completely changes his theme too often on certain touchy subjects. He can't be trusted. Just like McCain voting against the tax cuts before he voted for the tax cuts. What is it with these Vietnam era naval officers that makes them wafflers. Age and experience, maybe. Only a complete idiot has an unbending, almost religious belief in the "never raise taxes" concept. Remember Bush-1? What did you think of his shift on the subject? You are welcome to send extra money into the US's General Fund anytime you want. How come the government never takes a revenue cut? |

Because our elected slobs are too well-guarded, so they have no reason to do what's right. |

Loogy, earlier you asked me a question and I was polite enough to answer it. Did you not say the following: "My brother is a chemist for a large pharmecutical company. He couldn't wait to get out of the military because there was no progressive type learning." -- ***** Hope your day is better than decent! ***** John H It's hard enough for him to keep up with his lies in one thread, please don't tax him any further. |

Paul O'Neil spoke about that in the book authored by Ronald Suskind called "The Price of Loyalty". Seems that Bush 1 had won the office on a promise of tax breaks and when it was explained to him what this would do to the economy, he backed off, knowing the broken promise would cost him his second term. To me, forfeiting a second term for the good of the country says a lot about this man. Is your nickname, "spinmeister"? It should be! Why is it "spin"? |

In this thread, you have only contributed one comment: "Is your nickname, "spinmeister"? It should be!" Make a clearer statement about the CONTENT of the message preceding yours, and then maybe there will be a concept to understand. If you're as smart as you want us to believe, you should be able to explain what you meant. |
