Twenty years ago when I was just starting out after semi-retirement as a "professional" guide, I took a trip out west with the family. Mrs. Wave took the kids to see something and I went fishing with an First American guide up the Snake River in Wyoming on reservation land. Best fish ever. We caught a couple of nice size trout and the guide kept them. Steamed them in corn husks with some salt and pepper. Unbelievable. Of course, outdoors in the beauty of the Grand Tetons might have helped that along. :) |
