They make two fairings for that model - standard and high performance. The High Performance fairing is the preferred fairing for boats under 26' in length according to marine electronics types. Parker makes at least six models with transom cutouts. Beginning last year, I believe, the cutout transoms were dropped temporarily on the 25-footers. Parker does that from time to time. After the 2120 Pilot House was introduced (with the cutout transom), it stopped producing the 2100CC for a couple of years until production of the 2120 began to catch up with demand. The two boats use the same hull. But no real stripes, metalflake paint, tailfins, or carpet on the walking surfaces. No matching trailers, either. And most importantly, no eTecs. :-) |

It barely protrudes from the bottom of the hull. I've never measured the distance, but mine is about 2' forward of the transom. I didn't have a through hull on my 25' Parker. I don't buy the Mick Jagger hypothesis and James Taylor is too laid back to be vain. There is a school of thought that it's Angie Bowie, but I ain't buying that one either. I wonder if Dick Ebersol thinks it was worth the $50K he paid for the information... :) Well she sings about being up here in Nova Scotia.......... maybe she remembered yours truly. |

Already got three trips planned, including one to the OBX. I'd be inclined to call "bovine excrement" on OBX except that I've already been there in my 12 ft RIB dinghy. Let us know how Oregon Inlet looks in a 25 kt easterly. PS and FYI, that is *not* a tuna tower on the Pahkeh, it is a flybridge. *This* is a tuna tower: http://www.yachtshare.com/images/boats/28_2_l |

Well, if you've been somewhere, D'whine, it must be bullsh*t, or at least covered in it, eh? It's about 220 miles from my house to the OBX, D'wine. About a six hour drive pulling my tandem trailer, including food and rest stops. Or three days on your creaky old floating RV, if the weather sucks. |

We have had 3 wonderful vacations on the Outer Banks, most recently in a 3 level, 5 bedroom house on the ocean with my sisters family. The house had a pool, hot tub and game room. Mornings were spent with a cup of coffee watching the dolphins swimming parallel to the beach. Nice place, but a bit expensive. Yeah, we rent a house with another couple. No need for that many bedrooms, though. There's lots of stuff to do there, some boat-related, some not. It's a pretty easy drive from here. South Florida is too damned hot for summertime fun. |

Harry, Didn't you tell Skippy if you had to pull a boat more than 30 min., you would just rent one when you got there. |

The beauty of it is I don't have to drive the distance. Guy we share a house with has a big GM diesel pickup and knows how to pull a trailer safely. I get to copilot or snooze half the way. Virginia Beach is as far as I will trailer a boat from here. Someday if I have nothing to do...nah...I still wouldn't want to live on a boat. |
