"HK" wrote in message ... Arrgh...snow and rain. No Virginia Beach fishing trip this week. Anyway, got a photo of another West Coast Parker with a tuna tower. Don't see many of these tower-equipped small boats in these here parts. http://tinyurl.com/2st2wm Guy who runs her has an Airmar B-260 transducer, an 80-gallon bait tank, and goes out 75 miles for albacore fishing. Bit more to his tower than I usually see, and look at that pole-mounted radar. Twin 150s on the stern. Just look at that transom.............you're gonna freak out half the girliemen on this newsgroup..... Only the pussyboaters! Gosh, it's the same transom as on my Parker, just a bit wider. Owner of the boat probably has more money in that Airmar transducer than some of the pseudoboaters here have in their entire boats, those who actually have boats. There's a 28-foot Parker out there on the left coast with a tower, too, but if memory serves it is a "standup" only tower, with controls but no seat. I like this guy's mo' betta'. |
