Arrgh...snow and rain. No Virginia Beach fishing trip this week.

Anyway, got a photo of another West Coast Parker with a tuna tower.
Don't see many of these tower-equipped small boats in these here parts.

Guy who runs her has an Airmar B-260 transducer, an 80-gallon bait tank,
and goes out 75 miles for albacore fishing.

Bit more to his tower than I usually see, and look at that pole-mounted
radar.

Twin 150s on the stern.

Just look at that transom.............you're gonna freak out half the
girliemen on this newsgroup.....

Only the pussyboaters! Gosh, it's the same transom as on my Parker, just
a bit wider.

Owner of the boat probably has more money in that Airmar transducer than
some of the pseudoboaters here have in their entire boats, those who
actually have boats.

There's a 28-foot Parker out there on the left coast with a tower, too,
but if memory serves it is a "standup" only tower, with controls but no
seat. I like this guy's mo' betta'.

You have less in a lobsta boat than in that less than $200 transducer.

Man.... if you can get them that cheap, I'll take a tm-258......

I'd be curious where he has that transducer mounted on that boat.

Yes, you are the only man here brave enough to ply the protected
waters of the bay.

Ahh...it's the mighty Lake Lanier nosepicker! Indeed, the Bay waters are
fairly protected, but even so are a bit more dangerous than your Dry
Gulch lake. Besides, son of Yo Ho will be dipping her bottom into the
mighty Atlantic this coming season. Already got three trips planned,
including one to the OBX.

Yes, you have the best, most costly, and only boat in rec.boats.

The boat in the pix ain't mine, nosepicker. Do you even know what an
Airmar B260 is? Here's a hint: it's too big for even you to shove up
your butt.

Harry,
His point, which obviously went way over your head, is that you don't
boat anywhere but a little creek and a calm bay. *As you said numerous
times, you only go out when the weather is perfect.

Why do you like to pretend that you are a blue water boater or that you
even boat in the ocean.- Hide quoted text -

When Harry does his I have more than anybody else, I have better than
anybody else, my music taste is better than anybody else, my beer
taste is better than anybody else, my food taste is better than
anybody else routine, I'm always reminded of a Carly Simon
song..........
You're So Vain.....

Harry, I didn't say the boat in the pic was yours. But your childish
boorish insults are cute! I'm sorry that the point I was making failed
to hit home for you.

Loogy, be careful. The Bozo's 'bin' is getting pretty full. If he puts you
in there too, he'll never be able to keep himself straight!

I think it's about Warren Beatty. I don't buy the Mick Jagger
hypothesis and James Taylor is too laid back to be vain.

There is a school of thought that it's Angie Bowie, but I ain't buying
that one either.

I wonder if Dick Ebersol thinks it was worth the $50K he paid for the
information... :)

Check out the second line...

You walked onto the Parker...
Like you were walking onto a yacht...

I think Loogy may have hit the nail on the head. Or is my hearing bad?

Yeah, really. That would be a hell of a deal. Plus about $750 to install
it properly through the bottom of a boat.

Through the bottom. There's plenty'o'room in the bilges of a 25' Parker.
None of the space down there is taken up with pinstripes, metal flake,
tail fins, or carpeting. :}

It is a little huge for a thru-hull on that size of boat, but I
suspect that would be one of the preferred models.

Finding good water at plane, though? Location location, location.....
