|I have to leave to move some Climate Change off the driveways.

Along with the extreme drought, we haven't had a *winter* in quite a
few years.

Only one morning, thus far, with any frost at all.

We spent Xmas and New Years in shorts.

I remember when we actually had *four* seasons......

True dat,

In the 60's, 70's. You didn't get through the winter
without several nice snowfalls here.

Meanwhile,

We went down for the weekend. I had to change into
shorts Saturday afternoon to stop sweating. Lucky
I had a pair stashed away in a drawer at the beach house.
We drove to O.I to have dinner with my folks Saturday
eve. My Dad was sitting out on the front porch to
greet us still with *his* shorts on from working in
the yard...and a cold beer.

Did you read that article in Sunday's paper about Falls Lake?
I didn't realize they screwed up on the depth when it was built.

No, if you would get informed you would see that there are as many

NASA scientists more than UN funded scientists... Nothing to do with
any republican or democratic pundit.

Well, I was working as a CNE for a public traded corp at the time and
we had issues with only one program, which needed to be upgraded at
each workstation. Three facilities, almost a week, but we did not need
to buy new computers. How did your old equipment fair after the Hoax,
or did you just toss them out and never really find out? I am not
saying some business needed patches, but Dell, Compaq, etc had a blast
making everyone think they needed a computer all at once. No surprise
a year and a half later the market for processors tanked...

Weather and climate are two different things. many people confuse
them.

Say again?

Climate: The composite or generally prevailing weather conditions of a
region, as temperature, air pressure, humidity, precipitation,
sunshine, cloudiness, and winds, throughout the year, averaged over a
series of years.

again: Weather and climate are two different things. many people confuse
them.

Do you look at your driveway to determine the level of traffic around the earth?
If someone tells you that you driveway does not reflect what is going on over
the whole earth, do you respond that there's no traffic in any of the driveways
in your neigborhood?

The analogy doesn't make sense.

The only difference between weather and climate is time.

They are one and the same.

The very definition of Climate Change is change in the long-term
average of daily weather.

Can't have one without the other.

Why would you trust NASA and NOAA scientists more than UN funded
scientists? You don't think they can be corrupted by funding? Also,
you do realize that both NASA and NOAA agree that global warming is
real, don't you? And they also agree that they aren't sure whether man
is causing it or not. They never said man isn't causing it, as you
suggest. Also, there is a NOAA study on Paleoclimatology that shows
very clearly that in the past, when there was warming there was also a
big increase in greenhouse gases that occured naturally via volcanoes,
etc. So, we have evidence that green house gases cause global warming.
We also know that man is now spewing more and more billions of pounds
of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every day. How would you
conclude that this isn't having an affect?

Didn't say that.

I said that climate and weather are one and the same. Climate is
weather averaged over time.

It's a pretty simple concept.
