I will be heading to FLA in February.
Does anyone know where I can paddle around without the fear of alligators or sharks? Thanks, Micheal |

Thanks, Micheal Little Talbot Island State Park (http://www.floridastateparks.org/ littletalbotisland/default.cfm) is probably one of the nicest places to paddle near Jacksonville. You can also get some good information about paddling at this site - http://www.floridaseaislandspaddlingtrails.com |

Thanks Micheal I was at the Florida Greenway and Trails office in Tallahassee and saw a nice brochure entitled Florida Paddling Trails which includes the state park mentioned above along with all sort of other paddling trails available in Florida. A version of the brochure is available on-line at http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/PDF/F...ing_Trails.pdf. I wish you a great time in Jacksonville, especially while you're on the water!! |
