Lures? *Found something interesting - Chesapeake Bay Lures with a red
head and holographic foil body - very intriguing. *Bought some in the
blue back herring color scheme and read headed white translucent body.

They have a great selection of fly making materials too - very nicely
priced - extremely competitive with a lot of speciality shops and a
great selection. *Also picked up a new vise - 360 degree rotation and
numerous head angles - very nice vise for traveling and as a spare for
my bench vise.

Frankly, I was impressed on this trip.

Y'know, I'm not a fisherman but like to baot,a nd of course we don't
have one local, like... down the street, but that's one place I've
never been in. a Bass Pro Shop. Are they kind of like the Home Depot
of outdoor sporting goods?

Yes, only better. When you come to DC to visit, I'll take you to one. Maybe
we'll run into Harry, so bring your camera. Hell, maybe he'll take us for a
ride on the *big* boat!

No, more like the disneyland of sporting goods stores. Waterfalls, steams
with fish. The Las Vegas BPS has mounted schools of tuna and sharks hanging
from the ceiling. Even non fisherman / hunters enjoy the show.
