One advantage of using multi-part files is that you can sample the music for quality without having to download the whole song file. I occasionally check the binary music newsgroups mainly for acoustical music or unusual recordings that you don't find everywhere. Whatever floats. I mostly d/l music I want. I have three different cast versions of La Traviata, for example, all "MP4" quality, and I got them in about 15 minutes from the same site. One of the Russian sites I frequent has a huge backlist of "classicial" CDs, and another is up to date on popular music. I also get music from the Rapidshare servers. It's all top-drawer sound quality, no muss, no fuss. mp3sparks.com? What's the other one? |
