I think every piece of software that connects to the internet should have some basic security, yes. MS tends to open up holes, not close them. HTML is just one example. Oh, and a simple set of file permissions would go a long way to protecting your computer. Unix had them way back in the '70s. Microsoft is finally seeing the light, 30 years later. |
