I wonder if it's wrong to place all the blame for problems on just one program, when in fact, many users have no clue about protecting their computers, so OE or not, they're going to experience problems. If you're happy, I'm happy. I'd just like to make one point, though. The internet is the main source of malware these days. It would only seem prudent that programs that interface with the internet, email clients and browsers say, should be as secure as possible. Adding HTML capabilities to an email client just seems stupid to me. Does anyone besides spammers use HTML email? Does that depend on how you define HTML email? For instance, I get email from Barnes & Noble, with pictures, and various parts of the pictures contain links to different web pages. Is that HTML mail? If so, there are plenty of non-spam uses for it. |
