Default oil in exhuast

I agree with the bad rings, but usually a 4 cycle diesel wonb't run
away with blowing oil due to bad rings. now a 2 cycle (jimmy?)? thats
a different story, and yes, they will run away! But on your tractor,
you'll probably find hints of diesel fuel in your crank case as well.
Not always, but you might find that it's being traded out. Does the
engine have a lot of blow by as well?

This diesel is actually in a tractor but I'm sure there's no
difference. There is oil coming out of the exhaust. I was

guessing
that it could be a blown head gasket but not sure.

Worn rings from infrequent maintenance. The oil gets past the
oil ring and up into the cylinder head and is diluted by the fuel
spray that mixes with it that instant before combustion. The
compression is also down. Does it start easy or hard, an
indication of compression in diesels.

Wait until you see what happens when this is left unfixed! The
diesel may start to run on the oil leaking past the
rings...uncontrollably....right up to "terminal velocity"! Very
exciting. Use a metal plate over the intake to cut off its air
supply, which kills compression and PROBABLY will stop it.
A deck-mounted genset started running on lube oil on a
minesweeper I was on. We couldn't stop it. The black smoke
poured straight out the stack up a hundred feet! The captain
ordered us to push it off the stern. It was running very fast
when it hit the water. You could hear it exploding underwater.
Fire on an old wooden minesweeper was more of a worry....of
course.

Isn't it ironic that the same ISPs that are telling you
you're downloads threaten their networks......
....are testing 100Gbps TV to sell on the SAME systems?
