The cylinders should be honed and the pistons replaced if you're
going to do that. The ring grooves in the pistons get wider as
time goes by and the cylinder walls need smoothing into a circle,
again. No need to put new rings on an oblong hole, right?
As long as you've taken it apart, pistons and honing are cheap.
