Default Our Annual Christmas Parade

Today. Just saw it. Lots of fire trucks and fire equipment, student ROTC
types marching, high school bands, et cetera. No Jesus on a Stick.

Why would a "Breezy Point" parade be my parade? You think I live at the
marina.

BTW. by Jesus on a Stick, I didn't mean crucifixes. I meant live guys up
on crosses pretending to be Jesus.

Hey, didn't you say it was ten minutes away?

Harry, what you say isn't offensive.

Just the Fire Department's "Rescue Boat." It was the boat in our local
parade. Lots of neat fire engines, though. The "Rescue Boat" was on a
trailer.

I am sure there are several "boat" Christmas parades in this area. I
wouldn't cross the street to get a better look at any of them.

I used to like the Macy's Parade on Thanksgiving Day. Not any more. Too
corporately commercial with faked music for my taste.

28TH ANNUAL CHARLESTON PARADE OF BOATS
Saturday, December 1: 5:00pm-8:00pm
Parade begins along Mt. Pleasant at 5:00pm; Viewing from the
peninsula begins at 6:30pm; Fireworks begin at approximately
6:45pm
Get on board with a Lowcountry holiday tradition as this display
of lighted and festive boats proceeds from the Cooper River,
through the Charleston Harbor and into the Ashley River,
culminating in a brilliant fireworks display over the harbor.
View the procession along Charleston’s waterfront or decorate
your own boat and join the parade. Info: call (843) 724-7305.

Did you hear us playing The Grinch? The alternators on the
Perkins were having trouble keeping up with my 1,450 watt DJ
power amp into the 15" monsters lashed on deck...(c; It was
running off my 4KW 12V inverter hooked to the house monsters. If
you crank up the audio, it would actually make the belt squeal!

Had a great time....got drunk as usual in J-dock tradition.

See you next year.....
