And the Sioux were on the plains because the Ojibwe/Chippewa forced them
out of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Though there were areas, usually with
bountiful resources, that the First Nations lived in peace. It's also
true, that some of the bloodiest battles were European inspired. The
Beaver Wars for example. There is a quite interesting First Nations

They lost all the wars. The first explorers killed most of the natives via
disease, just as the natives have killed a lot of Europeans via Syphilis.
Not rationalizing anything. Just pointing out the natives were not a
peaceful society.
