I've always put that somewhat in the area of an urban myth.

Now, I'm not so sure.....

Was that Lake Lanier in the background? Damn, that lake has lost some
water. This morning's news said Lanier was now at it's lowest since 1981. I
wonder what Global Warming trend caused it to be so low then?

Who told you that the lake level in Lanier is due to global warming,
John?

I thought *any* natural disaster was due to GW(B). Tell me I'm wrong.

I'm worried that Falls Lake in NC is going to dry up. Then I'll have wasted
money on my new boat.- Hide quoted text -

The lake level of Lanier is because of the Army Corps of Engineers and
their unwillingness to quit releasing water downstream. If you look at
lakes here that are operated by the power companies, such as Georgia
Power, they are doing well.

How's the governor doing at getting the law changed so the Corps can do
otherwise. He seems pretty good at getting rain, or was that the mayor?- Hide quoted text -

Getting rain?? Are you serious?

The guy's probably a better fisherman than he is an actor.
The incident was very obviously staged, and the mock "surprise" is
unconvincing. I don't watch his fishing show, but do they normally
have the cameras rolling whenever the pickup truck backs the boat down
the ramp? If not, that's additional evidence that the entire, lame
skit was preplanned.

Sorry - he's the real deal.

I saw him once at the Worcester Sportsman show when he was putting on
a lure demonstration at the fish wall - he got to talking and walked
right off the end of the platform into the tank. :)

He's a lot like me in fact - an accident waiting to happen.

Do you still have enough water for your crops?

No, outdoor watering is banned. I do use gray water for a few
tomatoes, but nothing like last year when I grew more tomatoes, bell
peppers and squash than I could use.

So you've resorted to hydroponics?
