To all: Thanks for the information, advice, etc. I bought it. $3700. It's in my back yard as we speak. Another thing, I know someone shopping for the same thing. If you'd like to flip it and make a quick buck or two (but not many more) let me know. Btw, I'm not a dealer. Just asking around. Mainly though, I'm wondering what you think so far about the boat and how your venture into sailing is coming along. I haven't launched it yet, been studying sailing, and working on it some. It's in really fine shape, I got a good deal. Installed a new VHF, and a few things, but there's not much else to do to it, just wait until warm weather, besides I'd have to look for a ramp at Lanier that's still open because of the drought. Do you live in the Atlanta area? Nope. I'm on the Gulf Coast, half way between New Orleans and Mobile. But it's an easy ride from there down the Intertates. I used to make that run on a regular basis and still make the trip occasionally. Hopefully by Springtime you'll have some water to sail on. I hear y'all received a .25" or so last night. Another 15-20 feet and you'll be back in business ;-) Rick |
