That's become a common problem from what I'm hearing. $100K is nothing to sneeze at but you actually got a pretty good deal in my opinion. Our two were closer to $250 and that included some scholarship assistance but not a lot. They're both doing well however, out of the house, married, and well on their way to successful careers so I guess we got our money's worth. And that's the point isn't it. You give them values, get 'em rolling with reasonable help and from that point it's up to them. Ours worked out great and in the greater schema of life, that's all that matters. |
