I believe the "tostito" usage came about after Skipper mentioned encountering "sudden onset" high winds a few times while claiming to be in the Gulf of California, and some wag here made the Mexican food reference. IIRC, at least once he referred to it as a "sudden, unexpected hurricane". Although he obviously didn't mean that literally, many of us didn't let him off the hook. Eisboch |
