The rest of the game will yield nothing for either team until the 7th or 8th inning. The Red Sox will then rally and take a two run lead. 5 to 3 ..... Red Sox. Eisboch |

Tribe takes early lead - Dice Clay chased in the second, bases loaded Wakefield is brought in to relieve and pitches perfect ball. Westerbrook pitches well into the 4th, chased in the 5th and the Cleveland relief staff folds like a cheap suitcase. 8th Okijima, 9th Papelbon - game over. Or so I hope anyway. :) |

Regardless what happens tonight with this ALCS.........the Tribe took the Yankees apart and dismantled *your* team. No question about that, big time, embarassing for all concerned. I really thought *your* team had the Sox on the Rox but it's looking doubtful now. That bad call at 2nd base is going to get a lot of post game discussion, might even lead to a MLB instant replay system. |

When the Sox won in 2004, the opening day ceremonies at Fenway included the Yankees and they were all in their dugout watching and applauding. And give old George credit - when the Sox won the ACLS, they kept the lights on in Yankees Stadium so the celebrations could continue. And of course, one of the more memorable moments in baseball, came during the introduction of the players - Rivera got a standing O for giving up the winning run. I'll never forget it - he tipped his cap to the crowd with a big grin on his face and the place went nuts in appreciation. Baseball - gotta love it. |
