Tsk - tsk - tsk..

Notice that the party affiliation is missing from behind their names.

Wanna bet which party they belong to?

Subtle. Nuanced. Ethically uncompromising.

But if it was put up on ebay, I'd give 20K for it....

It would need to compete with the $10,00 toilet seats, $6,000 coffee
pots, and $965 framing hammers earmarked by both D and R lawmakers in
recent decades. One batch of *******s steals for one special interest
group, and the other batch of *******s steals for another. Except when
it comes to defense- everybody tries to steal as much as they can for
their local defen$e contributor...err I mean "contractor".

Speaking of stealing; Monday is the very last day to pay your 2006
income taxes, even with an extension. My CPA wife has just crunched,
munched, and double punched all the numbers detailing what we have to
pay in addition to this year's previously deducted amounts....Holy
Shiite!.....

Ask your wife what happens if one is three months late with one of their
estimated tax payments. Just curious, ya know.

Send it in right away, along with a letter of explanation and apology.
Ask in advance to have the penalty waived. Point out how for XX years
you have always had your quarterly in on time and that the ovesight
will never happen again. Especially if the penalty is a relatively
small amount, they will often write it off vs. bother to hassle you.
They probably get those letters and say "Oh, oh. Here's one of those
guys who wants to put up a fight over a few hundred bucks. Anybody
want to screw around pursuing this? No? Well then let's forgive the
penalty."

Well, I already sent it along with the next quarter's payment. I'll find
out the penalty, if any, when I do my taxes, I guess.
