Among the top ten congressional whores the R's outnumber the D's by a 6 to 4 margin, but some of the D's have turned a lot more tricks than the R's so its pretty close to a wash- IMO. As far as it being a "Seattle" or WA state problem, once again that is a mischaracterization. Among all members of congress, Baghdad Jim leads our delegation with the presitgious honor of being in 10th place on the streetwalker's list. Other WA lawmakers that appear on the total congressional list, by place, a 37th overall: Patty Murray, Senate D $246k 49th: Maria Cantwell, Senate D $213k 149th: Rick Larsen, House D $102k 180th: Adam Smith, House D $88k 205th: Jay Inslee, House D $74k 266th: Doc Hastings, House R $51k 299th: Dave Reichert, House R $42k 320th: Cathy McMorris Rodgers, House R $37,050 373rd: Brian Baird, House D $24k 449th: Jim McDermott, House D $13k By the way, Jim McDermott, 449th from the front of the trough, represents some of the more liberal suburban areas around Puget Sound.
