Well, I finally got that 25 setup and running on the Brockway. I
"repaired" the prop to get rid of some of the flat spots and tried to
even out the three blades Seems to have made a difference, I wonder
what a decent blade would do. Anyway, here are some test runs on a
small lake in CT.

These are big movies, but they run ok.
First two are of tests of different trim settings, the third is a
quick one to prove that I indeed do occassionally "set the hook".

I still got to get a handheld or borrow another one to see how fast I
actually am going, And yes, it does make a difference to me

Again a reminder for anyone who is not familiar with my $400 hull,
here are some still shots:http://www.yaimkool.com
Very little gas, lots of room, I am starting to like this little
skiff... to bad it's so late in the season. Anyway, not bad when you
consider I probably have less than 2 grand into the whole boat.

later, ate that bass, now I need some sleep...

Might be my infantile computer skills, but I can't get the movies to
download.....- Hide quoted text -

Or my skills. These files are huge, 20-30 mb and I don't have the
software to knock them down. They are quick time files.

Hi Don!

I responded to your accusations yesterday and even asked you a few
questions. Did you miss that one? I believe this was it:

************************************************** ********
The 'advice' was worth what he paid for it.

How's the boat, the mom, the son, and the wife?

When my daughter dropped out of college and decided to make a nest in my
house, I started charging her $200 a month rent. For some reason she found
this hard to abide. So she moved into an apartment with several other
girls. That lasted about six months, and she then decided to return to
college. That entitled her to move back into the house. She then became a
nurse.

Just a thought, for what it's worth.

So now you've lowered yourself to the Dingy Dan level.
Now it's not just my mom...it's my wife & son too!
Funny thing...you don't expect ant better from Dan, but you tried to pass
yourself off as a 'law & order' man.
I guess that old saying...'it all comes out in the wash' does make sense
here.

Did I say something offensive, or are you just looking for a made up excuse
to be rancorous?

How would we know anything about your wife, your mom, or your son if you
hadn't told us? I passed along a tip that worked with my daughter. I don't
believe I said anything at all about your son or your wife.
************************************************** ***********************

I would think that after that accusation and the 'rancorous' post of yours,
you would have responded.

That's a good plan actually. When my oldest son wanted to live home
after college we charged him rent with the understanding that he'd get
it back if he went to graduate school. Not happy at the time but he's
a lawyer now.

He'll get it back!

When my daughter turned 18, I made her do her own income tax. She was
****ed. Now she thinks it's the one, best thing I ever did!

I think the problem is...golf season is over and he doesn't get to fondle
the little pimply balls anymore.
But if it'll stop him from boring the rest of the group with his
foolishness, I have been charging my #2 son modest rent/room & board since
January and have given notice that the rate goes up if he's still here
January 2008.

No wonder you guys up north have trouble with golf. You use balls with
"pimples". Down here we use balls with "dimples".

Try 'em, it will make a world of difference.

Golf season isn't over until the temp is below 40F or there's too much snow
on the ground to find the ball.

Good idea with #2 son!
