No shoot.

Wouldn't any decent drill instructor demand 100 pushups for
misspelling "Marine"? :-)

Are you assuming a Marine DI could spell marine? :}
I am sure you would not say that to a DI in person.
Sure I would.
No doubt as you know that the ACLU and legal restrictions would prevent
the DI from decking you.

Take away these restrictions and I doubt you would take that challenge.

I can probably make an arrangement for a retired USMC DI to meet wtih
you so you can follow through with your post.

Still game?

Hey, I'm not the one who suggested sending someone over to fulfill a

Cool. Great car.
Get yourself some hard rubber molded floor mats, and for the cargo bin,

Probably because you used to get the snot beat out of you everyday when you
were in high school.

JimH,

Wow, it seems that your day on the lake was definitely relaxing. I
don't know what high school you went to, but the one I went to I don't
remember anyone getting the snot beat out of them. I really don't
remember many fights at all, but that was not one of my priorities. I
do remember the guys who actually could beat the snot out of anyone,
were normally very quietly confident, they didn't have to pretend to be
tough, they were tough. It was those who were insecure with themselves
and their masculinity who puffed up their chest and tried to be tough.

This whole thread reminds me of Bassy threating to beat everyone up,
except you have your children beating up the "elderly" and some DI
beating up on Harry. I would hope your children would not be the kind
who would beat up the elderly, but based upon this thread, that might be
the values you instilled in your boy and girl. I can't imagine any DI
would consider hitting Harry or any other 60 yr old who made any comment
about the military, no matter how insulting it might be.

You may puff up your chest and try to be macho, but you are not fooling
anyone.

You'd be better off asking him to spell 'DI'. He'd probably be able to
handle that!
That would be "DEE" "EII"
Why you find pleasure in insulting our military is beyond me Harry. When
doing so you insult every member here.

Sleep nice tonight as our troops are watching your back.

When did everyone in the military lose all sense of humor

I didn't!!

I thought Bassy left rec.boats, but it sounds like he has returned under
and is using JimH's handle.

Third..........I taught my children to be able to take care of themselves.

I should have addressed this post properly to you:

To: Jim Gallow

Boating location: Lake Lanier

Have a great night Jim.

Ouch, now that hurt, I don't know what is worse being called Jim Gallow
or being accused of boating on Lake Lanier. I thought you said I didn't
boat, you need to get your story straight.
