Although it might take a bit longer, I would guess my daughter could do the same. ;-) It does sound like you have provided your children with an excellent value system. Yes I have. They both know how to take care of themselves and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. You didn't teach that to your kids? Perhaps yours are the ones everyone picks on and beats up on for their lunch money. Like father, like son. Eh? Jim, did you teach them just to take on older guys? BTW, do you even know what a pugil stick is? They are used as a precursor to bayonet training. They could, perhaps, cause a concussion if head gear wasn't worn, but it's not normal. They are *not* something even your son would want to use as a weapon against us old guys. That would be kinda like a Clint Eastwood movie. "Gonna hit me with your stick, huh? BLAM!" Of course, *I'm* just kidding. I can't figure out if JimH really taught his kids to beat up kids for their lunch room money and is proud of the fact that he thinks both of them can beat up on the "older folks" or if he is just over compensating for some reason. |

I didn't even disagree with all of your negative statements, I was just asking why your thought all boats smelled of dry rot, mildew and unpleasant odors from the head. I would think if I made derogatory comments about your boat or boating lifestyle you might think that was conformational, so I didn't make any judgmental or conformational comments. |
