I lost a quarter of an inch of my left thumb to a bluefish. I kid you not. Had I not duct-taped it back on, I would have lost my thumb tip for sure. Ouch... I had one latch onto the meaty part of my left hand one - right under the thumb. Took me a while to get it off. The other day, I forgot to wear my filet glove when I gilled the thing and it cut two fingers. And that's not something that I can afford to get infected what with all the chemo and stuff. But hey - life goes on - live a little. :) |
