You just can't beat a nice high transom (HT) Hatt. My 51' Hatt has Corinthian Leather Seats, and a very high transom. |

Only long time inhabitants of wretched.boats understand the importantance of details like that. Ordinary Hatt seats and LTs are just not hairy enough. |

I certainly hope that you aren't going to lecture anyone else here anymore. |

Corinthian leather is for pansies. Mine has alligator skin upholstery. |

Alligator skin is for showoffs! My seats, like the boat, are made of wood... with splinters, and rusty nails;) |

Life with an imaginary boat is mega cool and from what I have read in rec.boats, much cheaper than the real thing. Oh Reggie, you silly fop. You forgot to bring along your imaginary mistress. Thats what puts the cuddy in your cabin. My imaginary mistress has a transom that's high and tight and a narrow beam. She looks great with all her canvas off, and a graceful but pronounced flare in the bow draws admiring glances from fellow mariners. (She can be a lot of fun in head seas). Now, I'm talking about a boat- of course :-) |

The only problem I can see with it, is when you have a nice boat, you do have a tendency to use it. Now imaginary boats allow you to talk about boats, and still post 24/7 in rec.boats. |

Since when is a discussion of Hatteras boats and leather seats and transoms a spreading of manure? Shame on you! |
