We could go to Niantic and fish the out flow from the power plant. Now wait just a freakin minute, Tom. You should carefully consider the global consequences of hauling fish out of the discharge from your power plant. It must have occured to you that the water from the power plant is probably a couple of degrees warmer, at least, than the water in the rest of the bay. Those fish serve a valuable ecologicial function- they absorb some of those exhausted btu's, thereby reducing the carbon footprint of your power plant. Just think of those poor polar bears, swimming miles and miles between scrawny little icebergs and searching in vain for food. High price to pay for a fish dinner. :-) |
