Wished we had more time to just kick around. It would have been interesting

Maybe another time...thanks for you interest in me getting home safely Tom..
appreciated your calls.(I get sleepy on long drives).

This reminds me of a little lesson my dad taught me many decades ago.
It went something like this:
"If you are ever in a bar and there is some guy standing on the table,
or talking louder than everyone telling them how he was in the war,
killing japs, fighting up hills.... here is what you do. You look for
the guy sitting quietly a couple of tables over, tear in his eye, head
in his hands... Buy him a drink and walk away, he is the guy that was
there." He continued on to leave me with this. "The guys that were
really there, don't talk about it". From my point of view, T has never
mentioned it, and quite frankly, guys like us probably don't want to
know.

And yes... Bronson and I plan on getting lots of use from that boat. Even
the wife looked it over this morning and said it looks bigger than she
thought it would.

A dog named Bronson, I love it, sure there is a story there. Hope the
three of you get to spend a lot of time muckholeing, if ya'll do it up
there.

I may be installing that second comfy seat soon.

With all due respect, you should consider a third for the wife

The difference between a war story and a fairy tale:

War story -- "This ain't no ****, but....."

Fairy tale -- "Once upon a time..."

Other than that they're pretty much the same.

I think Tom is a little more straightforward than that.
I'm betting he'd either say he didn't want to talk about it... or he'd give
factual info not embelished or jazzed up in any manner.

(I'll send you a direct e-mail re keys and any manuals you might have
kicking around)

If I had known it was that long a ride, I would have gone further
along Route 9.

I'll mail the X-85 manual and keys tomorrow - I'm really sorry about
that. I'll mail the engine manual as soon as I find it - the office
and two bedrooms are all stored elsewhere while the remodeling is
going on. I know what box it's in, it's under other boxes and buried.

Glad you made it home in good shape. Or reasonably good shape.

Enjoy it - it's a nice ride. :)

Oh, and I disabled the bomb Scot placed under the front seat - don't
worry about it. :)

What a bum. Hey, should I give you a ring this eve? Good temps and
skies tomorrow, some wind, you make the call.

My mileage was almost exactly 1200 kms.... or 745 miles in 'funny talk'.

Thanks in advance for the manuals...I love to read them over & over...I
always find something new I glossed over the first couple of times.
(not to mention when trouble crops up)
