I'm betting he'd either say he didn't want to talk about it... or he'd give factual info not embelished or jazzed up in any manner. |

You find the "present" I left on board??? |

You find the "present" I left on board??? Say what? See a bunch of funny little dark things I took as rabbit turds. That it? Today I started playing the game of getting the trailer registered. Went down to the Dept of Motor Vehicles only to be told that I have to take the trailer to a Canadian Tire Corp auto service dept and have them do an inspection to make sure your lax 'merican standards comply with our Canadian ones. (thought that was why I needed to make sure the 'compliance' sticker was on the trailer) If the mechanic is happy, he stamps the customs Form 1 paper I received at the border and then I go back to the provincial gov't dept to register. I hope the mechanic can do a safety check at the same time..... otherwise it's back to another mechanic after registration. After that I have to register/license the boat because the motor is over 10 hp As we speak I'm charging the battery up with the small nifty charger. I plan on hitting the water this weekend..... if the weather is good. Might even take it down to the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes in Cape Breton. |

(I'll send you a direct e-mail re keys and any manuals you might have kicking around) If I had known it was that long a ride, I would have gone further along Route 9. I'll mail the X-85 manual and keys tomorrow - I'm really sorry about that. I'll mail the engine manual as soon as I find it - the office and two bedrooms are all stored elsewhere while the remodeling is going on. I know what box it's in, it's under other boxes and buried. Glad you made it home in good shape. Or reasonably good shape. Enjoy it - it's a nice ride. :) Oh, and I disabled the bomb Scot placed under the front seat - don't worry about it. :) |

Hey, should I give you a ring this eve? Good temps and skies tomorrow, some wind, you make the call. |
