It pushed Commando's Penn-Yan around from 1942 until about 3 or 4 years ago. It still runs, but it finally became too balky to be worth the trouble of clamping it to the dinghy's transom, so we replaced it with an electric motor. That's not unlike the handwrap and pull my dad gave me when I was about seven years old. Of course, mine came in a box, disassembled, and I had to put it together to get it to run. I had a lot of help, though! |
