Nice video of the recent shots from the USS Florida in the Gulf of
Mexico to the target zone at Eglin. There's quite a bit of 'literary
liscense' in the last half of the video since many of the shots shown
were from China Lake tests. Also the final scene of the boat
executing the emergency blow is a Fast Attack so it wasn't the
Florida. Notice the large non-retractable mast (can't remember the
actual name) that is attatched for such tests (so the camera ships can
know where to aim to catch the missile as it leaves the water) is
missing from that shot but was obvious during the scope images of the
launches. Stock footage.
