Loadmaster "Aluminum" Trailer, 5100# capacity, with Carpeted Cypress Bunks & Front Boards , Tandem Torsion Axles, Aluminum Wheels, Radial Tires, Spare Wheel, Tire & Hub mounted on Frame, All Stainless Steel Fasteners (except on galvanized steel parts, I assume), et cetera. $3845. Florida manufacture. LoadRite "Aluminum" Trailer, 4200# capacity, remaining pieces and parts about the same, but with no front boards and no spare wheel, tire & hub. $3100. Pennsylvania or North Carolina manufacture. I've got a Loadmaster under my 25' Parker and have found it to be a top of the line boat trailer, with absolutely no problems, rust, corrosion, or even burned out lights. These are "Mid-Atlantic" prices, subject to dealer pricing oddities. For some reason aluminum trailers don't seem to be popular up here. Would they be much more expensive than a similar galvanized version south of the border? About $500 more from one vendor for the size I have in mind. |
