Maybe you need a somewhat larger, heavier boat, built to take that kind
of stuff.

The boat can take it..........it just isn't fun. Even if we still had our
32 footer I would not go out.

I draw the line at three to fives in my Parker. Four to sixes on the Bay
are no fun...too close together, not like the ocean.

Go see the new Bruce Willis movie and forget about the boat for a couple of
hours.

Good idea but I hate movie theaters and crowds.

We ended up doing some yard work, took a nap together, watched some TV then
grilled some scallops/shrimp/mushrooms (lots of garlic and butter) scewers
along with boiling some fresh corn on the cob on the side burner. The
dinner on our deck was topped with some classical music. Add a bottle of
white zinfadel, a blue sky and a beautiful wife for company and it was a
perfect way to end the weekend. ;-)

A little salt, pepper, and garlic powder along with some olive oil,
then put that corn on the grill, and you'l have some really great
corn.

Add a bottle of white zinfadel

OK... you had me until you wrote that... :- Zinfandel is red, and it's
supposed to be made that way! Ok, I'm just havin' fun... and it sounds like
that's exactly what you had.

My evening was similar, except it was chicken on the bbq... along with the
corn. We all (wife, 2 kids) had dinner on the patio, with hawaiian music in
the background... nice. Oh yeah... wine too, but it was a cab.

Is that after you boil it, or no boiling at all? Do you wrap it at all? I've
never had much luck with corn on the grill....

We took the crew ot to field test his new PFD. Seems ok, but he wasn't
fussy about swimming out over his head.
