There are several different companies in that business but Lake of the Ozarks is a long way from the nearest sea port. I'm guessing that to transport it overland you'd have to completely dissassemble and remove the flybridge. |

The boat is on the back end of the trailer and the flybridge is on the front. |

Well it looks like the boat has sold.. The boat was actually in great
condition freshwater/one-owner/always undercover.. Owner just doesn't have the time to use the boat and is currently out west. The market has been very strange this year in the midwest. Smaller bow-rider type boats are gold. I've got plenty of freshwater sea ray's for sale right now at wholesale numbers and cannot get much action. As far as moving this boat.. Yes it is a 2 trailer move. we disassemble the boat and put the bridge on a seperate trailer. unfourtanley at lake of the ozarks we have to do it everyday theres no other way to get these boats to our lake unfourtanley. We have a bunch of these 56 and 57 voyagers on this lake along with some larger boats. all have had to come in on 2 trucks. |

And the bigger yachts are being venerable in a market. Chuck was probably right, about the second mortgages etc. and 600 thousand is a bit steep for the average working stiff to be paying for a yacht, especially one that will probably do more sitting than cruising. not counting maintenance and slop fees that go on wether the boat is being used or not. Still, there are people out there that have "serious" money that can buy a boat like that and put it on a credit card. But I suppsoe a person can get bored with anything, especially if you have the funds to pay for such comodities. out of curiosity, could the boat be chartered out for the weeekeders and time share crowd?? Then again. |

Then again. A $600,000 barge of a boat on the Lake of the Ozarks is absurd. But I guess it is the appropriate place for one of those monstrosities. The last time I was down there, there were lots of beautiful inboard mahogany runabouts just about everywhere, and for us normal folk, 16' ski boats with outboards. Sounds like the place has really gone downhill. |

Harry, if you want to be considered "normal folk" you will have to go through the nominating and election process like everyone else. Is there anyone here willing to propose and second Harry to normal folk status? Maybe next year. |
