Poison ivy of the future may be a lot worse. Researchers have
monitored

elevated

most

separate
U.S. Forest Service study found that up to 85 percent of humans are
susceptible to poison ivy.
If it is the Hartford Courant, you can bet they have nothing more
than
a political agenda driving 90% of the stories they print. In a recent
survey, the HC was found to be the second most biased news paper in
the country. All they really do is copy the NYT stories and add a
little political propoganda to keep it lively. There is little news
worth reading there. Sorry Harry, the HC is little more than a PR

by a majority as left, even far left, your talking points tease
ideologue. I don't expect you to view the HC as biased.

I'm a middle of the road leftie. BTW, I looked at today's editorial
page at the Courant. Real radical stuff, calling for resumption of
inspections of highway bridges, a bit about golf, and a hit on a state
agency that loaned money to Enron.

Well I think he is a FU too, and a pussy but then again, I am not an
ideologue. I did not do the study, you do not live here to see what
that paper and it's extreme left (sell out to insurance companies and
anyone else with a buck) agenda has done to our state. The HC is on a
mission, just cause you agree with the mission does not make it
unbiased. Although you may consider yourself middle of the road, most
who read you would take your support of the HC alone as proof positive
of it's biased agenda. Like I said, I live here, my dad reads the
Journal Inquirer which basically copies the Courant and the Times word

You don't read it, but you're OK with your crystal ball method of knowing
what an article says. Talk about a FU.....

I hate to break this news to you, but...

Insurance companies are not representatives of the extreme left.

Hartford has always been "insurance city." The fact that the major
newspaper supports the insurance industry should not surprise you.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hartford_Courant

"While the Courant editorially has recently endorsed Republican presidential
candidates, its editorial approach to state government has traditionally
been liberal and opposed to what it considers short sighted conservatism.
Its strong endorsement of former Senator Lowell Weicker was decisive in the
1990 gubernatorial election. It endorsed his Lieutenant Governor Eunice
Groark in the 1994 election. After Governor John Rowland abandoned efforts
to repeal the state income tax and endorsed state funded redevelopment of
downtown Hartford, he received the Courant's endorsement for his re-election
bids. The Courant's investigation into his dealings with state contractors
was a major force behind his political demise and resignation from office,
however. In 2006 the Courant reverted to form by endorsing liberal Democrat
John DeStefano, Jr. for Governor.
Following its traditional stance towards supporting expansive state
government, the Courant then strongly endorsed Governor Jodi Rell's 2007
plan to raise the state income tax and exceed the state's constitutional
spending cap."
