Does a milky color to the old lube mean that I have water in it? Wouldn't the water separate from the lube? I replaced it with Sierra Premium Gear Lubricant. Is that o.k.? Please email me if you can help me. Chuck Yes it would mean you had water in the lube. It really does not matter what lube you use, until you replace the seals, you will continue to leak water and water and oil are not a good lubricant for your lower outboard lower unit. |
